Governor Kathy Hochul today announced a total of 21 transformational projects for the North Country region as part of two economic development programs: the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) and NY Forward. Eight projects were announced for Ticonderoga, the Round 6 winner of a $10 million DRI award; 5 projects were announced for Cape Vincent, a Round 1 winner of $4.5 million NY Forward award; 4 projects were announced for Lyons Falls, a Round 1 winner of a $2.25 million NY Forward award; and 4 projects were announced for Waddington, also a Round 1 winner of a $2.25 million NY Forward...

Ticonderoga DRI Public Workshop: Wednesday, June 28th from 4-6 PM DRI Public Workshop #1 will be held on Wednesday, June 28th from 4-6 PM at the Ticonderoga Campus of North Country Community College (NCCC).  The public workshop will be in an open-house style format, with attendees welcome to come at a time that is convenient for them between 4pm and 6pm. Ticonderoga DRI Local Planning Committee Meeting 1.5 Virtual Meeting on Friday, June 2nd from 9 AM - 10 AM! The Ticonderoga Downtown Revitalization Initiative Committee was recently recognized at the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce Community Appreciation Dinner & Awards Ceremony for their work throughout 2022 to plan and apply for New York State’s largest grant program.
