For assistance in reviewing and accessing the below resources, we encourage you to contact and meeting with the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce. They will review with you the business services, assistance, and financial resources that may be available to you as well as directly introduce you to any resources needed.

TACC will be hosting the North Country Small Business Development Center at their office on Monday, July 10th and Tuesday, July 11th from 10 AM – 4 PM. These services are an opportunity to receive assistance in preparing your business plan, financial plan, and general business assistance during the Ticonderoga DRI process.

Whether you are just starting out or you’ve been in business for years, the SBDC can help build your business . . . one step at a time. 

The SBDC offers free direct counseling and a wide range of management and technical assistance services. We can help start-ups develop a business plan, assist existing businesses prepare to expand, or offer resources for industry-specific topics.

Essex County Industrial Development Agency (IDA):

The IDA can provide financing to support the startup and growth of small businesses that are creating and/or retaining jobs in the County. The loan fund provides financing to businesses that are unable to obtain full conventional bank financing.

The Adirondack Economic Development Corporation (AEDC) is a non-profit regional economic development organization and Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that serves the greater North Country’s small businesses.
