21 Nov Ticonderoga DRI Committee Recognized
The Ticonderoga Downtown Revitalization Initiative Committee was recently recognized at the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce Community Appreciation Dinner & Awards Ceremony for their work throughout 2022 to plan and apply for New York State’s largest grant program.
The committee has and is being lead by PRIDE of Ticonderoga and the Town of Ticonderoga in coordination with the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce, Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership, Essex County Industrial Development Agency, Ticonderoga Revitalization Alliance, Fort Ticonderoga, Ticonderoga Central School, and the Regional Office of Sustainable Tourism. The Ticonderoga DRI Committee also worked with Elan Planning consultants to support the public participation process and the submission of the DRI application to NYS. The committee has been meeting monthly since January.
